浮桶有双重意义(维基百科):自由浮动的桶是一个特定的设计技术用于高度精确的步枪,尤其是比赛年级步枪,以提高准确性的武器。

Here is my latest watercolor on paper: Floating barrels, from a picture I took in Spanish Banks/Vancouver. I liked the contrast between the mostly grey and blue-green building mountains and see and the red barrels.
Floating barrels has a double meaning (Wikipedia) : A free-floating barrel is a specific design technology used in highly accurate rifles, particularly match grade rifles, to increase the accuracy of the weapon.
painting seascapes in watercolor step by step tutorial:
I used Watercolor and watercolor crayons and also sprayed my watercolor towards the end to give it a more messy look and leave some parts to chance. Here are the steps I took:
I did draw the cityscape on my stretched paper with pencil.
I start by applying a few subtle variegated washes in the sky with red and yellow.
I continue applying washes on the sky and start applying a red wash in the lower part of the sea.
Then I start working on the mountains in the background with a series of washes.
Then I work on the buildings.
I added a few more washes on the mountains and painted the city’s skyline.
I paint the darkest part of the painting with a mix of emerald-green and scarlet red, Stanley park and trees along the shore.
I remove the liquid frisket with an eraser.
I then brush edges with water and a stiff brush to soften them.
Here is the same area after softening the edges on top of the mountain
Now I am working on the barrels with a mix of scarlet and black.
I then work with the watercolor crayons. With the crayons I refine some of the edges on the barrels and on the city skyline, adjust a few colours too
Now is time for a bit of messing up! I splash the paper with water and watercolors.
