原文如下：Still feeling like painting Flowers with the gorgeous weather we have been enjoying this spring, this mixed media painting is inspired by pictures I took of Allium Flowers ( more precisely common onion flowers) that were growing in my vegetable garden last year. Here is a picture of the actual flower:

I did make my drawing with pencil on canvas, I am including shapes and a few details but not too many as the first layers of paint are going to cover the drawing anyway.
I start painting the first layers in contrasting colors.
I paint some bright green in places where I see a green undertone.
Then I work with the pink and burgundy.
I apply bright yellow in places where I see a yellow undertone.
Then I paint white acrylic straight from the tube in some areas as well as white acrylic diluted in medium in others.
Then I start working with pastels to try out different color combinations. When I am done I fix them with Krylon workable fixative and then am able to add more layers either of pastels or acrylics.
I try different colors playing with the pinks and the white by glazing until I am satisfied with the colors.
